May 7, 2025- 1 Day ECMO Cannulation Training and Simulation Course

This course will be held at the ExtraCorporeal Education Center (EC2) in Murfreesboro, TN, located just 30 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee.

This course is intended for intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, emergency physicians, or other healthcare professionals desiring to learn and/or improve your ECMO cannulation abilities.

You will be provided with multiple opportunities to focus on the development of individual skills as well as information and skills training opportunities to perform ECMO cannulation for different patient age groups and multiple ECMO modalities.

Course participation is limited to a small number of learners to assure plenty of time for not only individual practice but also for maximal contact hours with the highly skilled experienced ECMO cannulating physicians assisting with the training process.

The course content will cover both VA and VV modalities and will be conducted in our state-of-the-art Extracorporeal Education Center (EC2) located at 2610 Merchants Walk, Murfreesboro, TN 37128. Integration of collaborative ECMO Advantage philosophies set the cornerstone for your learning experience leading to improved safety, better outcomes and decreased complications.

Attendees to this 1-Day Cannulation Training Session will be provided with:

Interaction with experienced highly skilled ECMO cannulation physicians
Realistic cannulation phantoms in a high-fidelity simulation environment
Practice the process of ECMO cannulation from:
1. Patient identification,
2. Cannula selection,
3. Site selection,
4. Connection to the ECMO system
5. Initiation of ECMO
6. Troubleshooting cannula issues after initiation

Refund Policy:

Full refunds are available and will be issued in the same form of payment used to make the reservation. Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and will be accepted up to 30 days prior to the event. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, ECMO Advantage reserves the right to issue a full refund.
